Les began his public accounting career at Arthur Young & Company. He specialized in audit-, tax and merger- and acquisition-related activities. His assignments included Lin Broadcasting, Warner Communications, Mobil Oil International, acquisition of Mercury and MGM records by Polygram, Arcata National’s acquisition of Charm Craft and many others.
Les then decided to open his own CPA firm, which grew to 40 people. The firm developed deep subject matter expertise in publishing, media, communication, information, financial services and manufacturing and service businesses.
Les was introduced to Greg Lindberg in 2001 when Eli was contemplating acquisition of The Coding Institute. Les and his firm provided due-diligence services during the acquisition process. After that, his company was engaged to provide audit and transactional services to Eli, and he continues to provide Eli with financial due-diligence services.
